About the 54ft Searay
A 2020 build with three cabins, the 54ft Searay is the newest of our mid-size Sea Rays and the one that feels most like a small superyacht inside — without leaving the mid-size price band. Charters start at $850 for two hours out of Miami Beach, which keeps the entry point friendly for a boat of this size and finish.
Thirteen guests spread easily across the bow and aft deck, and the three-cabin, two-bathroom layout means the group below deck never queues. Four hours at $1,300 is the popular window; three hours runs $1,000, six goes for $1,700 and the full eight-hour day tops out at $2,000 — a clean number for a long celebration.
Captain and mate, fuel, ice, cooler, drinking water and floating mat are all included. Bring your own provisioning, budget the customary 15 to 20 percent gratuity for the crew, and lock the date with a 50% deposit.
