About the 48ft Sailing Cat
The 48ft Sailing Cat is the quiet one — one of the only boats we run where the engine is optional ambience rather than the whole soundtrack. A 2019 sailing catamaran with four cabins and two bathrooms, it hosts up to 13 guests across two hulls' worth of deck and trampoline space.
The pricing rewards staying out: $2,400 for the popular four-hour charter, $2,600 for six and just $2,800 for the full eight — the flattest ladder you will find at this size, because a sailing day is not meant to be clock-watched. Under way, it is wind, water and conversation at a catamaran's unhurried, level pace.
A captain and mate handle the sailing entirely; fuel, ice, a cooler, drinking water and a floating mat are included. Bring your own provisioning, tip the crew at the customary 15 to 20 percent if the day earns it, and a 50% deposit sets the date.

48ft Sailing Cat FAQs
Is the 48ft Sailing Cat actually a sailboat?
Yes — a true sailing catamaran, one of the fleet's rare sails. The crew handles everything; you just ride the wind.
Why is the 48ft Sailing Cat's full day such good value?
The ladder barely climbs: $2,800 for eight hours against $2,400 for four. Sailing days are built to run long.
How stable is the 48ft Sailing Cat for guests?
Catamarans ride level on two hulls — the steadiest platform we offer, which families and first-timers appreciate.
