Charter windows run from a two-hour taster at $800 through $900 for three hours, the popular four-hour slot at $1,100, six hours at $1,500 and a full day of eight hours at $1,900. Four hours comfortably fits the standard Miami loop — skyline, Star Island, a sandbar swim — while six and eight let you anchor longer, swim more and eat aboard at your own pace.
Your captain and mate, fuel, ice, a cooler, drinking water and a floating mat are all part of the rate. You bring food and drinks; gratuity is customary at 15 to 20 percent. Book with a 50% deposit and settle the balance before you step aboard.
