The 45ft Cantius is a 2021 Cruisers Yachts 45 Cantius — an American-built modern cruiser whose calling card is glass: big hull windows and a bright, open main salon that older 45-footers cannot match. It hosts up to 13 guests out of Miami Beach with a captain and mate.

Charters run $2,000 for the popular four-hour slot, $3,000 for six hours and $4,000 for the full eight. Two cabins and two bathrooms sit below the salon, so the boat handles a celebration on deck and a quiet escape below at the same time.

The rate includes fuel, ice, a cooler, drinking water and a floating mat; you bring food and drinks. Gratuity is customary at 15 to 20 percent. One written quote covers every cost, a 50% deposit locks the date, and the balance settles before you board.
