About the 40ft Fjord

The 40ft Fjord is the sports car of the mid-size fleet — a 2022 Fjord 40 Open, the German-designed day boat famous for its vertical bow and wide-open single-level deck. Thirteen guests share one uninterrupted social space instead of splitting between levels, which is exactly why groups who have chartered everything else come back to this.

It books at $1,800 for the popular four-hour window, $2,400 for six hours and $2,900 for the full eight. Two cabins and two bathrooms hide below the deck for changing and shade breaks, and a captain-and-mate crew runs the day while the group stays in the sun and the conversation.

Fuel, ice, a cooler, drinking water and a floating mat are included; provisioning is yours. Gratuity for the crew is customary at 15 to 20 percent, and a 50% deposit against a single itemised quote secures your date out of Miami Beach.
